CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The LMU women's tennis team fell to 8-3 on the season and 2-1 in South Atlantic Conference play as they lost to Queens 7-2 Saturday afternoon.

LMU's wins came at no. 3 doubles and no. 5 singles.

In doubles, Julia Valls and Kristin Vogel defeated the Royals pair of Hannah Lehfeldt and Caroline Nielsen 8-6.

LMU's other point came at the number five flight in singles, where Julia Zellner bested Lehfeldt 6-2, 6-2.

LMU returns home to host Tusculum Wednesday afternoon.
