ALBANY, Ga. – Fresh off a signature win on Saturday, the Lincoln Memorial University women's soccer team will face its final nonconference test of the season on Tuesday with a road match at Albany State. 
 
The Lady Railsplitters (4-2) scored two second-half goals to pick up their first South Atlantic Conference victory of the season with a 2-0 win over previously undefeated Catawba on Saturday in Salisbury, N.C., while Albany State (1-5) was held scoreless for the fourth consecutive match in a 1-0 loss at Converse on Saturday.

Quick Hits 
 
- Itzel Ballesteros scored the game-winning goal in the 51st minute and assisted on Jessica Cravero's insurance goal in the 73rd minute to power the Lady Railsplitters' 2-0 triumph at Catawba, who entered Saturday's contest riding a six-match winning streak. Goalie Ann-Marie O'Connell also came up big, making a pivotal save on a penalty kick attempt in the 86th minute to preserve her third shutout of the season. 
 
- Ballesteros and Cravero are among the SAC leaders in points this season. Ballesteros leads the team in that department and is tied for fourth in the conference with 12, while Cravero is tied for seventh in the league with 10. That duo has combined for 22 of the team's 33 total points and 52 of 89 shots.  
 
- The Lady Railsplitters lead the SAC with three shutouts this season. Despite that, Lincoln Memorial is ranked seventh in the league in goals against average with a 1.38 clip. However, the Lady Railsplitters have only conceded eight goals this season, with five coming against defending national runners-up Carson-Newman last Wednesday. 
 
- Lincoln Memorial is 2-1 on the road this season with wins at Catawba and USC Aiken and a loss at Young Harris. 
 
- First-year players continue to have a big impact for the Lady Railsplitters, as six newcomers have started all six matches, while two others have started at least two contests. 
 
- The Lady Railsplitters are looking to win back-to-back matches for the second time this season and first since opening the year with consecutive wins over Erskine and Salem. 
 
- Lincoln Memorial is fifth in the conference with 14.8 shots per match, but rank last in the league in shots on goal percentage with a 40.4 percent mark. The Lady Railsplitters have also attempted the third-fewest corner kicks in the SAC with 19. 
 
Know the Opponent 
 
- Albany State has been outscored by a combined 13-0 margin during its current four-match losing streak. The Golden Rams have not scored a goal since defeating Shorter 2-1 on September 3. 
 
- Converse College scored in the 86th minute to drop Albany State to 1-5 on Saturday. The Golden Rams played the Valkyries tough in the loss, though, posting 11 shots including seven shots on goal. 
 
- ASU has mustered just two goals all season. Jenna Wade and Alexus Lawson have accounted for a goal apiece and lead the team with a combined 13 shot attempts. Marisol Estrada is responsible for the team's only other point with an assist to go along with three shots on goal. 
 
- Abby Whiteside has started all six matches in goal for Albany State, posting a 3.21 goals against average and a .725 save percentage. She has made 50 saves and allowed 19 goals total. 
 
- The Lady Railsplitters are one of two SAC programs Albany State will face this season along with Newberry on October 8.
