HARROGATE, Tenn. – The LMU men's tennis team improved to 6-1 on the season as they blanked future South Atlantic Conference member UVa-Wise 7-0 in the Indoor Tennis Facility Sunday afternoon.
The Railsplitters only gave up two set points all day, with those coming in singles play. In doubles,
Moritz Hoerner and
Jake Tuchmann won at no. 1,
Sebastian Colla and
Iker Moure at no. 2, and
Fabian Sjokvist and
Felipe Charry won at no. 3, all by 6-0, 6-0 margins.
Colla at no. 3 and Hoerner at no. 2 both won by 6-0, 6-1 margins. The rest were all 6-0, 6-0 as Moure won at no. 1, Charry at no. 6, Sjokvist at no. 6 and Tuchmann ended the day with his win at no. 5.
