LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The LMU tennis team lost at Bellarmine Saturday morning by a 4-3 margin.

LMU picked up the doubles point via a win by Julia Valls and Julia Loos over BU's Madison Devillez and Aubrey Smith at the number two flight. Bellarmine only had five players, so they forfeited the number three flight, giving LMU the point.

With a forfeit also at the number six singles flight, LMU took a 2-0 lead heading into singles play. The Knights took close wins at the number one and number three flights to tie the match up at 2-2. Loos then defeated Devillez 6-2, 6-3 at number four to put LMU ahead, but Bellarmine picked up wins at number two and number five to claim the overall 4-3 win.

LMU hosts King University on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
