HARROGATE, Tenn. – Seventeenth-ranked Queens proved to be too much for LMU as they won 7-0 Sunday afternoon in the LMU Indoor Tennis Facility.
With the loss, the Lady Railsplitters fell to 9-7 overall and 3-4 in South Atlantic Conference play.
Queens took the 6-3 win at the second doubles spot as 44th-ranked 
Julia Valls and 
Julia Loos lost to Isabel Fornies and Viktorija Veselinova. At the first flight, eleventh-ranked Yana Fleyer and Sasha Davidzenka defeated 
Johanna Delisse and 
Kiersten Waugh 6-4.
LMU picked up their lone win of the day as 
Samantha Hogan and 
Kristin Vogel defeated Hannah Lehfeldt and Katie Halickman 7-5 at the third flight.
Despite losing all six singles flights, four of them were hard-fought losses. Davidzenka, who is ranked 59th nationally, outlasted 
Marta Pinol 6-3, 6-4 at the second flight. Fornies bested Valls 7-6, 6-1 at the third spot, while 
Julia Loos lost her first SAC match of the year to Veselinova 6-4, 7-5. At the fourth flight, Vogel went to three sets before falling to Lehfeldt 6-4. 2-6, 6-3.
LMU will next take the court when they travel to Coker for an April 6 SAC meeting with the Cobras.
