HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The LMU men's tennis team had all the momentum going into singles play, but the host Coker Cobras rallied back for the 4-3 win over the Railsplitters Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, LMU falls to 8-8 overall and 2-6 in South Atlantic Conference play. The loss also moves them back to ninth place in the standings with two conference matches remaining with the top eight teams going to the SAC Tournament in two weeks.

The Railsplitters swept the doubles flights. Moritz Hoerner and Jake Tuchmann defeated Hunter Horton and Pablo Gonzalo-Saul 6-3 at the third flight. David Segarra and Iker Moure won over Justus Lehmann and Isaac MacMillan at the second spot 6-2 and in the first spot Fabian Sjokvist and Sebastian Colla won over Melwin Krall and Max Sturgess 6-4.

Colla fell to Sturgess 7-6, 6-2 in the fourth flight, followed by Horton besting Moure 6-4, 6-2 at the second spot.

Jake Tuchmann then tied up the match at 2-2 with his 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 win over Gonzalo-Saul at the sixth spot.

The Cobras then won the next two matches to claim the victory for Coker. At the third spot, Lehmann won over Hoerner 6-1, 6-2; and in the first flight Segarra fell in three sets to Krall 6-4, 6-4, 3-6.

Sjokvist picked up LMU's third point as he won over MacMillan 7-1, 1-6, 10-6 at the fifth spot.

LMU will play at Union on Monday.
