HARROGATE, Tenn. - Coming off of a difficult loss to Anderson, the Lincoln Memorial University women's basketball team (3-2, 2-2 SAC) will take on Lenoir-Rhyne (0-4, 0-4) on the road this Saturday, January 9 inside Shuford Gynasium in Hickory, N.C.

Last Time Out
The Lady Railsplitters took on Anderson at home this past Wednesday and showed the effects of a 35 day layoff in the 54-32 loss. Transfer Mikayla Kuehne and freshman Nakia Weston led the scoring charge with seven points each while Addi Kirkpatrick and Lindsay Proffitt pulled down five rebounds, respectively.

Versus The Bears
The Lady Railsplitters have a 10-18 all-time record against Lenoir-Rhyne. The Bears have won three consecutive matchups in the series while LMU has not recorded a victory since a 73-62 home win on January 19, 2019.

About Lenoir-Rhyne
Lenoir-Rhyne is coached by Grahm Smith, who is in his first year as head coach. Smith came to Lenoir-Rhyne from William Peace, where he went 39-16 in two seasons at the helm. Coming off an 11-18 (9-13 SAC) season, the team is 0-4 (0-4) so far this year. Emily Harman leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 13 points and seven rebounds per contest, while Hanna McClung averages 10 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. Four other players average between four and six points per contest.

LMU will head on the road in conference play as they will travel to Limestone on Jan.13. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
