Box Score MARS HILL, N.C. – The Lincoln Memorial University Lady Railsplitter lacrosse program marks back-to-back wins after taking down Mars Hill University on Wednesday evening.
THE RUNDOWN
Senior attack
Erin DePaul netted three first-half goals to hit the 100-career goal mark. DePaul becomes the third Lady Railsplitter to reach 100-career goals and ranks third in program history passing former teammate
Kennedy Buechner.
"It's really exciting to hit a big milestone this far into my career, it wasn't done completely on my own, I'm lucky to have teammates to help me reach that mark. I'm stoked!," DePaul added on the individual milestone.
Sophomore attack Ali Van der Ziel contributed with five goals within the first leg of action to make one of seven different Lady Railsplitters to find the back of the net in the beginning 30 minutes of play.

Abigail Francis converted on a free-position shot to get the Lady Railsplitters rolling just three minutes in. Junior attack
Kelly Csenar netted a pair of goals five minutes apart to end a three-goal run by the Lions of Mars Hill to notch a trio on the evening.

Avery Van Der Ziel recorded her second goal of the day with 11:28 left on the clock with an assist from
Ali Van Der Ziel to combine for eight goals and five assists between the two, totaling 13 points on the evening.

Sierra Landsman slipped by for the final Lady Railsplitter goal on the day as she struck successfully twice during the outing.

ONE FOR THE BOOKS
Today's result marks the program's first 2-0 start in conference play after defeating Catawba (14-10), and Mars Hill (20-15).
IN BETWEEN THE PIPES
MHU – Alexandria Holleran recorded seven saves and a dozen goals against in 48 minutes of play. Gini Joy logged 11:45 of game time, allowing eight goals and three saves in the loss to LMU.
LMU – Senior
Micayla Starnes clocked in for just shy of 25 minutes logging in a pair of saves and eight goals against. Sophomore
Keegan Gillman finished the remaining 35:17 and tallied 10 saves and seven goals against in the Lady Railsplitter victory.
TEAM STATS
LMU led in shots (44-32), ground balls (29-27), draw controls (19-18), successful clears (25-19), saves (12-10), fouls (21-20), and turnovers (17-24).
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Today's victory over Mars Hill extends the winning streak to three games, continuing an undefeated mark against the Lions dating back to the 2018 campaign.
