The Railsplitters (7-4-1) traveled to Jefferson City to take on the #11 Carson-Newman Eagles (6-2-5) and are traveling back victorious with a 2-1 win.
 
The Railsplitters started off hot with a shot at the four-minute mark by Hunter Stroble and Harry Cooke.  At 16:52, Ronan O'Mahony got the Railsplitters on the board with a header, assist from Steven Stone.  Just a few minutes later, the Eagles would score and make it 1-1.  However, this did not slow the Railsplitters down.  Harry Cooke got himself a goal from a penalty kick goal making it 2-1 before the half.
 
The second half would remain scoreless, but the game would end in favor of the Railsplitters.  Making them 5-2 in SAC play.
 
Notables:
Ronan O'Mahony has two goals on the season.  Making this game the second game in a row that he has scored in.
O'Mahony, Cooke, and Christian Hatley all had four shots while Hunter Stroble had five. 
The Railsplitters outshot the Eagles 23-14.
Goalkeeper Alan Johnson had three saves.
