The Lady Railsplitters took on the Emory & Henry Wasps this afternoon. The Lady Railsplitters defeated the Wasps, 4-0, on senior day. Lincoln Memorial improved to (4-11) overall and (3-8) in conference play. Today they honored their two seniors: Lexi Bearden and Sydney Wolfenbarger.
 
In the first half, the Lady Railsplitters came out shooting aggressively with 7 shots. Ellie Snyder went high to the top corner of the net for the first goal of the game. Indy Meering, Emma Snider, Anne Van de Munt, Ryan Branson, Merel Houweling, and Katherine Browning. Katherine Browning took 2 shot attempts before putting her 3rd one past the goalie for the 2nd goal of the game. Isabelle Zukaitis kept the Wasps scoreless with 2 saves.
 
In the second half, the Lady Railsplitters once again came out shooting aggressively with 6 shots. Anne Van de Munt, Katherine Browning, and Merel Houweling shot on goal right before Ryan Branson snuck a goal past the goalie for goal #3 of the game. Merel Houweling had another shot attempt before Emma Snider scored a top corner shot off a deflection from the goalie. Bente Latenstein kept the Wasps scoreless through the half with 2 saves. Isabelle Zukaitis and Bente Latenstein shared the shutout for today's game.
 
The Lady Railsplitters took the victory over Emory & Henry this Wednesday afternoon. This home win contributes to 3 wins in a row for Lincoln Memorial.
