Box Score Greenwood, SC
 
Field Hockey (0-7) traveled to Greenwood, SC to take on the Lander University Bearcats (2-3).  The Lady Railsplitters lost this match 7-0.
 
Lander was quick to get some shots off short after the first quarter started.  Keegan Gillman made her first start in goal and made some saves for the Railsplitters keeping them in the game.   LMU's defense was able to hold off the Bearcats, ending the first quarter 0-0.
 
Two minutes into the second quarter, Bearcat Aniek Vreeken got them a goal to make it 1-0.  Anelli Rossi had a shot on goal right before the half ended, but the Bearcats were rolling making it 3-0 before halftime. 
 
The Railsplitter defense was able to hold off the Bearcats to two goals in the next two quarters, but Lander ran away with this match.
 
Notables:
Brooke Foster and Haley White each took a shot on goal, making it their first shot on goal of the year.
Keegan Gillman made her first start in goal, having 13 saves for the Railsplitters.
