Harrogate, TN - Following the completion of its best season in program history, the Lincoln Memorial field hockey team saw a tandem of players named to the All-SAC team on Thursday, with one earning Freshman of the Year honors. Senior defender
Olivia Rosini and freshman goalkeeper
Cayla Wiggins both earned all-conference honors, with Wiggins taking home Co-Freshman of the Year honors for the South Atlantic Conference. Rosini was named Second Team All-SAC, while Wiggins earned First Team All-SAC honors, as well as Co-Freshman of the Year honors. Rosini became Lincoln Memorial's all-time leading career goal scorer late in the season, tallying three goals and an assist on the season, totaling seven points. Wiggins made an immediate impact in her debut season, playing every minute of all 17 games for the Railsplitters. Wiggins led all SAC goalkeepers with 113 saves while posting a .702 save percentage, ranking among the top five in the league. She recorded two shutouts and was instrumental in guiding LMU to the most wins and the first postseason berth in program history.
