@LMUmsoc Defeats Limestone to Move On to SAC Championship

The Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters took on the Limestone University Saints in the SAC Conference Quarter-Final and are moving on to play in the SAC Championship Sunday at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
 
The Railsplitters jumped on the board quickly getting a goal at almost five minutes into the game by Harry Cooke.  They kept the Saints out of the scoring zone as long as they could until Limestone would then tie it up at 16:05 to keep it tied going into halftime.  
 
LMU would get more shots off at the start of the second half from Harry Cooke.  They would then get some corner kicks in but were unable to find the net.  Until Kriton Kiousis got another goal at 58:46 for the Railsplitters with an assist from Peter Majer and Harry Cooke.  This would put the Railsplitters up 2-1, making it the final score.
 
Notables:
Harry Cooke led with four shots, two shots on goal, and one goal.
Cooke now has 15 goals on the year.
Steven Stone and Krition Kiousis had two shots.
Kriton Kiousis goal makes his second of the year.  
Christian Hatley, Ronan O'Mahony, and Hunter Stroble all had one shot.
Goalkeeper Alan Johnson had four saves.
 
Next Up:
The Railsplitters will play Lenior-Rhyne Sunday at 1 pm for the SAC Championship.
