HARROGATE, Tenn. – No. 15 Lincoln Memorial University men's volleyball dominated from beginning to end in a sweeping victory, 3-0, over Limestone on Saturday afternoon. This extends the current overall win streak to 15 games, which is the longest active streak in NCAA Division I/II.
 
The Railsplitters controlled the contest from the opening set, hitting .333 overall with 34 total kills. On the defensive side, LMU held the Saints to a .118 hitting percentage with just 29 team kills.
 
Johansen Negron paced the Splitter offense with 11 kills, hitting .320 on the afternoon. The San Juan, Puerto Rico native also added four digs and a service ace. 
Dawson Walker followed suite with double-digit kills as he tallied 10 on the afternoon while hitting. 692 on the afternoon. 
Matthew Gentry anchored the Blue and Gray defense as the Hudson, Ohio native lead the way with eight total blocks.
 
Lincoln Memorial and the Saints traded points to begin the first set, but the Railsplitters found their grove and used multiple rallies of two or more points to take the first set over Limestone, 25-18.
 
The second set saw LMU jump out to a 6-3 lead before the Saints pulled to within one. Just moments later, the Railsplitters used a six-point rally to take a 16-6 lead. Lincoln Memorial did not look back as they went onto capture the second set, 25-15.
 
Limestone made the beginning of the third set a battle as they held a 12-10 lead over the Splitters. It did not take long before Lincoln Memorial retook the lead as a quick swing saw LMU up 13-12. The Saints tied it up just twice more the remainder of the set as the Railsplitters took a tightly contested third set, 25-22.

The Railsplitters will turn to the road for the first time this season as they will travel far west to Manoa, Hawai'i for a triple date with the defending national champions, No. 3 Hawai'i. The tripleheader is set to begin on Friday, February 18 at 7 p.m. HT/12 a.m. EST.
