HONOLULU, Hawai'I – The No. 15 Lincoln Memorial University men's volleyball program fell in three sets to No. 3 Hawai'I on Saturday night in Honolulu.
The Rainbow Warriors got out to a hot start in the first set, racing to an early 6-1 lead before the Railsplitters called a timeout to break up the momentum, and did so ending the Hawaiian run. It did not take long for Hawai'I to extend their lead as they used a four-point run to take a 10-2 lead. Lincoln Memorial tried to mount a comeback, but the Rainbow Warriors were able to take set one, 25-11.
After the first set, the Splitters regrouped and broke out to a 4-2 lead to begin the second set. It did not take long for Hawai'I to see their first lead of the set, but Lincoln Memorial was able to keep things even before the Rainbow Warriors used a three-point rally to force a LMU timeout with a 10-7 lead. The Railsplitters clawed their way into the Hawai'I lead, but the Rainbow Warriors were able to take the second set, 25-16.
The Railsplitters got out to another quick start in the third, but Hawai'I was able to even things up at 6 a piece. Lincoln Memorial was able to keep things interesting as they came as close as three off the lead. Hawai'I was able to close out the set on a 7-2 run to take the match, 25-17.

The Railsplitters will complete their three-game road trip to the Pacific on Sunday, February 20 with the final match of the triple header against the Rainbow Warriors. First serve is set for 5:00 p.m. HT/10 p.m. EST and can be seen on ESPN+ ($).
