Box Score HARROGATE, Tenn. – Lenoir-Rhyne University swept the doubles and never looked back in handing Lincoln Memoria University a 6-1 defeat in men's tennis on Wednesday afternoon. The loss drops the Railsplitters to 8-6 on the year, and 2-1 in the SAC.

The #43 ranked Bears rolled to wins in five of the six singles, with only
William Jonsson earning a victory to stem the tide for LMU. Jonsson continued his hot streak by taking down Lenoir-Rhyne's Joel Hemmings by a 7-6 (3), 6-2 margin.
Sebastian Colla and
Franco Battaglino each notched a set in their matches but ended up losing in three sets. In another good effort,
Thom Hermans fell in two hotly contested sets, 7-6 (3), 6-4 to All-SAC performer Rhodri Atkinson in the #1 spot.

"They just came in here firing today, and LRU was the better team," said head coach Mark Walters. " We got some solid play from just about everyone, but LRU was more mature and had some weapons we couldn't get away from. We'll get better from this if we see where we need to improve against more offensive squads."
