ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Lincoln Memorial University tennis programs will see more time on the courts as they will head to the Palmetto State for the 2022 SAC Tennis Championships at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
 
The No. 58 Lady Railsplitters will head to Sumter as the No. 8 seed after closing out the regular season with a 5-7 South Atlantic Conference record. LMU claimed the tiebreaker with Limestone, who also finished at 5-7, by virtue of a 4-3 head-to-head win back on March 8. Lincoln Memorial is led by Valentina Ascarrunz and Julia Valls who currently rank as the No. 27 doubles duo in the nation and will head into the tournament on a high note as they defeated Castaneda and Chamoun of No. 16 Newberry.
 
Led by Thom Hermans and Fabian Sjokvist, the No. 68 Railsplitters will also travel down to the Palmetto Tennis Center as they received the No. 7 seed after finishing the regular season with a 6-6 conference record. LMU went into a tiebreaker decision with Limestone and came on top as the Railsplitters took the head-to-head match back on March 8.
 
Play will get underway on Thursday, April 21 at the Palmetto Tennis Center as the men's program will get their opening round match underway at 9:00 a.m. against No. 2 seed Anderson while the women's program will see their opening round match against No. 1 seed Queens at 2:00 p.m. ET.
