Box Score Slippery Rock, PA
 
LMU Field Hockey took on Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania. The Lions defeated the Lady Railsplitters 4-1 in second game on the road.
 
Qtr 1: The first quarter of the game went scoreless for both teams with just a couple of shots from the Lions. 
 
Qtr 2: The Lions got on the board at 20:44 with a penalty shot from Erin Roland.  Three minutes later, they would score again making it 2-0 before the end of the half. 
 
Qtr 3: LMU held their own by keeping the Lions from getting another goal.  Anella Rossi had her first shot of the year at 33:53. Right before the quarter ended, the Lions got a goal to make it 3-0.
 
Qtr 4: Just a few minutes into the fourth the Lions got a goal in making it 4-0.  However, Railsplitter Katherine Brislin got LMU a goal at 52:06 making it her first and the program's first goal in history.  
 
Next Up: Field Hockey will return to Harrogate Tuesday the 13^th to take on Converse University at 4pm and open SAC play.
