The Lady Railsplitters (0-6) dropped game to the No. 10 Newberry Wolves (5-2) on a windy Wednesday evening at the LMU Lacrosse Complex.  The Wolves took over this game 5-0 and remain 2-0 in SAC. Â

LMU held the Wolves off in the first quarter - ending the quarter with a 0-0 score.  The Wolves got on the board in the second quarter at 24:13 making it 1-0 and the Railsplitters kept them there into halftime. Â

Newberry came out wanting more in the second half getting a goal three minutes into the third quarter making it 2-0.  However, LMU Goalkeeper
Ana Carney made it difficult for the Wolves to score making great saves to keep the Railsplitters in the game.  The Wolves got up 5-0 with some quick goals into the fourth quarter, making it the final score of the game.Â

Katherine Brislin had the only shot for LMU.
Ana Carney had 7 saves in the fourth quarter, giving her 19 saves total.
