SALISBURY, N.C. – The Lincoln Memorial men's and women's cross country teams both finished in fourth place at the Fleet Feet Invitational on Saturday morning.

The meet featured several squads from the South Atlantic Conference, as only SAC members Catawba and Wingate, plus Queens (N.C.) outpaced the Railsplitters.

Men
In the 8,000 meter race, the Railsplitters placed two in the Top 30 out of the field of 171. Benjamin Travis paced the unit in a time of 27:24.3 to finish 24
th in the field, while
Spencer Baldwin finished close behind at 27:38.7 to finish 30
th overall.
Sam Fulton (27:57.5, 29

Mason Johns (28:07.8, 46
th) and
Cole Stetson (28:33.9, 58
th) rounded out the placing five for Lincoln Memorial.

The Railsplitters wound up scoring 147 points to finish behind Wingate (39), Catawba (44) and Queens (59).

Women
In the 5,000 meter race, the Lady Railsplitters placed two in the Top 10 out of a field of 122. Leading off for Lincoln Memorial was
Brooke Foster who finished sixth with a time of 19:28.2.
Elke Wijkmans finished close behind in ninth with a 19:41.2 time. Also contributing to the team score were

The Lady Railsplitters finished with a score 99, which was behind Catawba's 42, Wingate's 47 and Queens (79).
