Box Score Harrogate, TN- The Lady Railsplitters took on the Lenoir Rhyne Bears this afternoon at the soccer complex. Lincoln Memorial started with the kickoff and the game was underway.
 
Lincoln Memorial and Lenoir Rhyne were neck and neck in the first half with outstanding performances on both sides. Bente Latenstein had several saves and blocks in the goal during the first half. Lenoir Rhyne continued to take shots but they were no match for the Lincoln Memorial defense with the Lady Railsplitters recording team saves as well. The score at the end of the half was 0-0.
 
The second half started up with a Bears kickoff. Five minutes into the second half and Abbie Biddle scored. Corrine Denton and Merel Houweling both took a couple shots throughout the second half. Bente Latenstein continued to save every other shot kicked during the second half holding the Bears to 1-0.
 
The Lenoir Rhyne Bears took the victory over the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters 1-0. The Lady Railsplitters will be back in action Saturday, September 10 at 3pm in Gaffney, SC against Limestone University.
