Harrogate, TN- The Men's Soccer team topped Carson-Newman 1-0 in their game on Wednesday.
Methodical possessions would be the key in this game as both teams would attempt to find opportunities in the midst of the other's defense. The game would prove to be a physical one early on as well, with both teams battling to strike first.Â
In the 41st minute, a turnover in the midfield would lead
Ronan O'Mahony to deliver a long ball for
Daniel Burko to finish in the back of the net to put the Railsplitters up 1-0.Â
The game would continue to remain physical with three yellow cards in the second half. The Railsplitters would remain solid defensively, however, and prevail for the victory.Â
