Gaffney, SC – The Lincoln Memorial Women's Volley team swept Limestone for the second time this season, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21. The Lady Railsplitters improved to 9-13 and 3-9 in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC). Limestone is 8-8 and 6-7 in SAC play.

Set 1: LMU 25-22
LMU started the first set slowly getting down early, 0-5. The Lady Railsplitters would fight back and catch the Saints at 10-10 with kills from Margaret,
Katie Cardenas,
Olivia Snyder, and
Agata Bogdanska. LMU kept control of the rest of the set with two kills from Cardenas and three kills from Margaret and ended the set with a kill by Bogdanska, 25-22.
Set 2: LMU 25-21
The second set started with LMU taking a small lead early and maintaining it until 16-12 when Limestone took five of the next six points to tie the set at 17-17.
Abigail Kesler got LMU back on track with a kill, followed by Margaret. Another kill by Kesler followed by kills from Cardenas and
Megan Maier helped LMU coast out to win the set, 25-21.
Set 3: LMU 25-21
Set 3 was a back-and-forth effort by both teams until Limestone pulled ahead by three at 15-12. LMU rallied scoring five straight points to take a 17-15 lead. Kills by Margaret and Kesler got the rally going. After trading several points, LMU put the set and match away with two kills from Cardenas and blocks by Cardenas, Bogdanska, and Margaret.
Looking Forward:
LMU is headed to Hickory, NC tomorrow for a 2pm conference match with Lenoir-Rhyne. The Bears defeated Carson-Newman, 3-0, this evening and are 17-6 and 11-1, second in SAC play.
