Harrogate, TN- The women's soccer team is set to face Limestone University on Saturday, October 21st. As the last home game of the 2023 season, the Lady Railsplitters will also honor several graduating members of the team. The game is set to be played at 1 PM with the men's game to follow.
The Lady Railsplitters are set to honor seven seniors:
Emma Snider,
Katherine Browning,
Merel Houweling,
Corrine Denton,
Megan Snider, Isabella Zukaitis, and
Mollie Wheeler.Â
Emma Snider has started in 9 of the 11 games she's played in on the year. The transfer from University of Mary is originally from Savannah, GA. She will be graduating from LMU with her Master's in Criminal Justice.
Katherine Browning, a Knoxville, TN native, has been a two year captain in her time playing for the Lady Railsplitters. Outside of soccer, Browning has made Dean's List every semester, is the President of the Lincoln Activities Board and Chi Alpha Sigma National Honors Society. She will graduate with her Bachelor's in Exercise Science & Rehabilitation.
Merel Houweling, a native of the Netherlands, has played in 13 games for LMU so far this season, starting 7 of them. In her time at LMU, she was also named to the Honorable Mention team in the 2020-21 season. She will graduate with her Bachelor's in Exercise Science.
Corrine Denton has played in 12 games for the Lady Railsplitters so far this year, including two goals to back up her 2023 Third-Team SAC Preseason All-Conference bid. Originally from Canberra, Australia, Denton has also made Dean's List each semester, made the 2022 Academic All-District Team, and became involved on campus in the RAILS club. She will graduate with her Bachelor's in Exercise Science.

Megan Snider played at LMU after transferring from the University of South Alabama where she won two Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championships. Snider had competed in 11 games this season, starting them all before sustaining an injury. A captain for the Splitters, she is also a member of Chi Alpha Sigma and in the midst of working on her Master's in Business Administration.Â
Isabella Zukaitis, originally from Prairie Village, Kansas, has seen two games in goal on the year, collecting 10 total saves and a 0.769 save percentage. Zukaitis has also been a member of the Dean's List and involved with the Lincoln Activities Board in her time at LMU. She will graduate with her Bachelor's in Exercise Science.
Mollie Wheeler, a Norris, TN native, transferred to LMU from Lee University. At Lee, she was a Honor Roll student and collected a 0.783 save percentage and five wins in her time in goal. She is currently in the midst of her Master's in Business Administration with plans to attend Physician's Assistant school.Â
Limestone is 3-7 on the season, 2-5 in conference play. Their most recent games include a win over Coker and a loss to nationally ranked Catawba. This will be only the 6th ever matchup between the two programs, with Limestone holding the edge historically.Â
