Hickory, NC – Lincoln Memorial's Women's Volleyball is headed to Hickory, NC, for their second opponent of their Carolina weekend: Lenoir-Rhyne (17-6, 11-1). The Lady Railsplitters will face the Bears this afternoon at 2pm for a conference match. The Lady Railsplitters are coming off of a 3-0 win at Limestone last night, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21.
This will be the first and only meeting with Lenoir-Rhyne this regular season. In the last meeting, LMU defeated the Bears 3-0 in Hickory. Historically, Lenoir-Rhyne has a 19-15 edge since 1999 and are at the top of the SAC standings.
Lincoln Memorial (9-13, 3-9) will be counting on
Ketura Margaret to lead the team. Ketura had 14 kills to hit .345 and had 10 digs in last night's win.
Olivia Snyder stepped into the setting role and had 27 assists. Defensively, Snyder and
Sydney Laye had eight digs, each.
The Lady Railsplitters have six conference matches left before the South Atlantic Conference Championships, which will be held on November 13 and 15-16. LMU is 2-9 in the SAC and 8-13 overall
