Emory, VA – LMU Women's Volleyball falls to Emory & Henry, 3-1, tonight in SAC play, 17-25, 25-27, 22-25, 17-25. The Lady Railsplitters are 9-15 overall and 3-11 in the South Atlantic Conference (SAC). Emory & Henry moves to 8-13, 4-8.

Set 1: E&H 25-18
LMU started the set scoring three straight points only to get caught by the Wasps at 5-5. E&H would pass LMU and extend their lead to as much as seven points, 19-12. LMU got as close as 21-18 before E&H ran off four points in a row to take the set.
Set 2: LMU 27-25
The second set was much closer with neither team able to lead by more than two points. There were 15 ties and seven lead changes. LMU was down 24-25 late in the set but scored three in a row to take set two.
Set 3: E&H 25-22
LMU scored the first two points but E&H caught the Railsplitters at 3-3 and pulled away, building an eight point lead at 17-9. LMU made a strong effort late to get close to the Wasps at 21-23 but E&H scored the next 2 of 3 points to win the set.
Set 4: E&H 25-17
The Splitters kept close in this set until 10-11 when E&H ran off six straight points, then coasted to a 25-17 finish and end the match
