Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial's Women's Volleyball team is hosting the Catawba Indians (5-7, 3-5) at 7pm for a conference match on Friday, October 6th. The Lady Railsplitters (7-9, 1-5) are coming off a tough conference loss at Carson-Newman (8-8, 6-2) last Saturday, 3-2.
Kristen Moehring led LMU with 18 kills and
Amanda Lisi had 37 assists in that match.
Overall, LMU is 20-15 (17-12 SAC) versus Catawba, with the Lady Railsplitters losing to the Indians in their last matchup last year, 3-2, in Salisbury. In that match,
Maggie Sanderson had 19 kills with
Kristen Moehring and
Ketura Margaret combining for 26 kills.
Amanda Lisi picked up 47 assists and
Sierrah Lemons had eight total blocks.
MJ Trujillo had 18 digs.
The Lady Railsplitters will be looking to
Kristen Moehring and
Ketura Margaret to lead the LMU attack. Moehring is tied for second in the SAC with 210 kills on the year and tied for 36
th in all of DII. Moehring is third for kills per set at 3.50, just .01 behind Scarce from UVA-Wise in the SAC.
Ketura Margaret has 177 kills this season, 8
th in the conference.
Defensively, LMU is led by

th in SAC).
Megan Maier is 7
th in the SAC with 273 serve receptions.
Catawba is 5-7 overall and 3-5 in the SAC. The Indians were defeated Mars Hill on Tuesday evening, 3-2.
