Harrogate, TN – Lincoln Memorial's Women's Volleyball team will be hosting Emory & Henry (5-10, 2-6) today, Tuesday the 10th, at 7pm for a conference match. The Lady Railsplitters (7-11, 1-7) are coming off a tough weekend losing to Catawba (6-7, 4-5) on Friday night, 3-2, and #24 Wingate (14-2, 7-1), 3-1.
Kristen Moehring led LMU with 34 kills and
Amanda Lisi had 82 assists in the two matches: 42 of them versus Catawba for a season high.
LMU lost the last meeting at E&H, 1-3. As a team, LMU outhit the Wasps, 56-41, in kills that match, with a .254 hitting percentage versus .219 for E&H.
LMU will be looking to
Maggie Sanderson and
Kristen Moehring to lead the LMU attack. Sanderson is coming off a solid performance last week with 20 kills and a .472 hitting percentage. Moehring is first in the SAC with 244 kills on the year and tied for 26
th in all of DII. .
Defensively, LMU is led by
Olivia Snyder with 249 digs (4th in SAC) and 317 service receptions (5
th in SAC).
Megan Maier is 8
th in the SAC with 306 serve receptions.
Emory & Henry defeated Mars-Hill on Sunday, 3-2 (25-19, 25-14, 25-19).
