Wingate, NC- The Lady Railsplitters fell to the Wingate Lady Bulldogs in the SAC Quarterfinals on the road this weekend.

Wingate would open their scoring on the day in the 2nd minute with a quick goal from Sascha Larsen. Lincoln Memorial would answer eight minutes later with Ryan Branson delivering a ball for Ellie Snyder to tie the game up at 1-1. Wingate would keep the attacking pressure, however, and connect two more times to put The Lady Bulldogs up 3-1 going into halftime. 

Lincoln Memorial would even the attacking efforts in the second half but couldn't capitalize, forcing the Wingate keeper to make seven total saves on the day. WU would add another goal in the 74th minutes, followed by a LMU red card a few minutes later to end action for the game and keep the score at 1-4 after full time. 

Lincoln Memorial closes their season at 8-7-3, 4-5-3 against conference opponents.
