Harrogate, TN – The Lady Railsplitters had their senior day, home today against Coker University. LMU got to honor their 6 seniors, Saquita Joyner, Lauren Flowers, Alexis Schulz, Sydney Reed, Grace Day, and Tytiaira Spikes. The Lady Railsplitters claimed the victory over the Cobras 56-48, improving their overall record to 15-9 and their conference record to 8-7.
 
In quarter 1, Alexa Smiddy kicked things off with a 3-pointer. Alexa Smiddy put up an additional 3-pointer later in the quarter. Saquita Joyner put up 4 points off a 3-pointer and a free throw. Lauren Flowers put up a 3-pointer. Lincoln Memorial had 5 rebounds, 2 from Geovana Rios. In quarter 2, Saquita Joyner kicked things off with a jumper in the paint. Saquita Joyner put up another 5 points on a jumper and a 3-pointer. Alexa Smiddy put up 7 points, Lauren Flowers put up 3 points, Chloe Savage put up 2 points. Lincoln Memorial recorded 13 rebounds in the 2nd quarter.
 
In the 3rd quarter, Geovana Rios started things up with a fast-break jumper in the paint for 2 points. The Lady Railsplitters took the victory over the Coker University Cobras this afternoon in Tex Turner. The final score was 56-48, advancing LMU to 8-7 in SAC conference play. Lincoln Memorial will be back in action this Wednesday, February 15, 2023, away at 5:30 pm against Limestone.
