The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team returns to the road to take on Limestone on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Gaffney, S.C. The game will serve as a rematch from back on Dec. 17 when the Railsplitters won 88-79 in their final South Atlantic Conference game before Christmas Break. Lincoln Memorial has won five straight games to right the ship after an 80-78 setback at Tusculum on Jan. 25.

The Railsplitters won 83-68 over Coker on Saturday afternoon at Tex Turner Arena behind five players in double figures scoring including
Chase Rankin's 15 points and eight assists.

The host Saints are coming off at 103-81 loss at Catawba last Saturday and have lost two in a row after winning four straight.

Lincoln Memorial was ranked No. 7 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches and D2SIDA polls released on Feb. 14.

RAILSPLITTER STRIKES (through games played Feb. 14)
- Lincoln Memorial leads the SAC in assists per game (20.2, fourth in Division II), field goal percentage (52.6, second), rebounding margin (+9.2, eighth), scoring margin (+19.5, second) and scoring offense (89.5 points per game, eighth) so far this season.
- Rankin stands at first in Division II in total assists (178) and second in assists per game (6.8). The graduate guard's 2.97 assist-to-turnover ratio leads the SAC.
- Martez Brown's 215 total rebounds leads the league and ranks No. 38 in the country.
- Matthew Sells has made 61 3-pointers this season, good for fifth in the conference.
- Rankin earned the SAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor on Jan. 16, while redshirt sophomore guard Me'Kell Burries won it on Jan. 9. Quay Kennedy most recently earned the honor on Feb. 6.
- Rankin was named to the Top 100 Watch List for the Bevo Francis Award on Jan. 15, which is given to the player who had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball.
SCOUTING LIMESTONE: The Saints are in a tie for fourth place in the Mountain Division of the SAC with a 6-8 conference record (11-13 overall). They rank third in the league in fewest turnovers per game and turnover margin, while their 36.4 3-point percentage is fifth in the conference.

Junior forward Ben Gahlert's 50.4 percent field goal shooting ranks fifth in the league.
