The Railsplitters traveled to Georgia to take on the Young Harris Mountain Lions in an evening game.  They are returning with a win of 10-8 and a record of 2-2. Â

The game started with a quick shot from Young Harris, then a save from goalkeeper
Tyler Shea.  Neither team got on the board until the last second of the first quarter when Young Harris scored their first, making the end of quarter 1-0.

Jenson Jones got LMU on the board, tying it up with the assist from
Daniel Pearl. Â
Kevin Jendrasik caused a turnover on the defensive end, getting the ground ball and then a goal with the assist from
Rhodes Conroy, making it 2-1.  Less than 30 seconds later, Young Harris tied it back up. Â
Michael Rogers won the next face off to get the ball on the offensive end for
Rhodes Conroy to get himself a goal with the assist from Jendrasik. However, Young Harris quickly tied it up again, making the score 3-3 going into halftime.

Francis O'Hara started the third quarter with a goal of his own, assisted by
Max Mora.  Young Harris wasted no time to tie it up yet again.  Young Harris got their second game lead with another goal, making it 4-5. Â
Francis O'Hara got another goal tying it up to keep the Railsplitters in this close game. Â
Gavin Reid then got his first game, followed by another goal from
Rhodes Conroy, getting them up by two before the quarter ended. Â

Rhodes Conroy got himself a hat trick to make the score 8-5 at the start of the fourth quarter. Â
Gavin Reid then got another goal to continue to stretch the score. Â
Gunner Cisko got himself a goal, making it 10-6 and the last goal the Railsplitters would score.  Young Harris scored three more times, but it was not enough to stay in the game as the time winded down, making the final score 10-8. Â

Rhodes Conroy led with nine shots and three goals.
Gavin Reid and
Francis O'Hara both had two goals.
Jenson Jones and
Kevin Jendrasik each had one goal.
Gunner Cisko's goal was his first of the year with the Railsplitters.
Jordan Sullivan led with five ground balls.
Tyler Shea had eight saves in goal.
