The Lincoln Memorial men's basketball team hosts Coker on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Tex Turner Arena for a South Atlantic Conference Tournament Quarterfinal. The Railsplitters (No. 1 seed in Mountain Division) and Cobras (No. 4 seed in Piedmont Division) last met on Feb. 11 in Harrogate when Lincoln Memorial cruised by Coker for an 83-68 road win. The Railsplitters are 18-0 all-time against the Cobras, including 9-0 at home.

Me'Kell Burries, Lincoln Memorial defeated UVA Wise 92-79 in the regular season finale last Wednesday night at Turner Arena. Burries was named the SAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his efforts.

RAILSPLITTER STRIKES (through games played Feb. 27)
- Lincoln Memorial leads the SAC in assists per game (19.9, fourth in Division II), field goal percentage (52.1, second), rebounding margin (+9.1, fifth), scoring margin (+18.0, fourth) and scoring offense (88.4 points per game, ninth) through the regular season.
- Rankin stands at first in Division II in both total assists (208) and assists per game (7.2). The graduate guard's 3.20 assist-to-turnover ratio leads the SAC and ranks eighth nationally.
- Martez Brown's 255 total rebounds leads the league and ranks No. 29 in the country.
- Matthew Sells has made 67 3-pointers this season, good for fifth in the conference.
- Rankin earned the SAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week honor on Jan. 16, while redshirt sophomore guard Me'Kell Burries won it on Jan. 9 and Feb. 28. Quay Kennedy earned the honor on Feb. 6.
- Rankin advanced to being named to the Top 50 Watch List for the Bevo Francis Award on Feb. 15, which is given to the player who had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball.
SCOUTING COKER: The Cobras won a three-way tie with Anderson and Lenior-Rhyne with a 6-12 SAC record (12-16 overall) to earn the Piedmont Division's No. 4 seed. Coker went 1-6 in February to close the regular season losing 10 of their last 12 games. The Cobras are second in the SAC in turnover margin (+2.4) thanks to being third in the league in steals per game (8.2) and turnovers forced per game (16.25, 23
rd in Division II).

Jones trails only Rankin in assists per game in the SAC (6.5, sixth nationally), while his 2.52 steals per game are second in the conference and fourth in Division II.
