Wingate, NC – The Lady Railsplitters traveled to North Carolina for the SAC Quarterfinals. LMU faced the Wingate Bulldogs this Wednesday evening. Lincoln Memorial fell to the Bulldogs 39-49 to end their 2023 season.
 
In quarter 1, Wingate got on the board first, but LMU quickly responded with a jumper from Geovana Rios. Geovana Rios put up another 2 points on a jumper. Alexa Smiddy had a jumper for 2, Jordan Maney had a layup for 2, Alexis Schulz had a jumper for 2, and Saquita Joyner had a layup. LMU recorded 10 rebounds, 4 from Geovana Rios and 5 from Saquita Joyner. In quarter 2, Jordan Maney started things off with a layup in the paint. Jordan Maney scored another 2 points on a layup. Alexis Schulz had a fast-break layup and a 3-pointer. Chloe Savage had a jumper in the paint and a free throw. Lincoln Memorial had 9 rebounds, 4 from Alexis Schulz.
 
In the 3^rd quarter, Alexis Schulz started things off with a jumper in the paint. Lauren Flowers had a good free throw, and Alexa Smiddy put up 5 points on 2 free throws and a 3-pointer. Lincoln Memorial had recorded 8 rebounds. In the 4^th quarter, Alexa Smiddy put up a 3-pointer and had a good free throw. Alexa Smiddy put up another 2 good free throws. Lincoln Memorial had 10 rebounds in the last quarter.
 
The Lady Railsplitters fell to the Wingate Bulldogs 39-49 in the SAC Quarterfinals. LMU has concluded their 2022-23 season with an overall record of 16-12.
