Harrogate, TN - Lincoln Memorial University is pleased to announce the appointment of Irelynn Davisson as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach for the upcoming season. With her exceptional experience as both a successful collegiate athlete and a graduate assistant, Davisson brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the program.

Davisson's passion for the game, combined with her strong leadership skills, make her a valuable addition to the coaching staff at Lincoln Memorial University. As a graduate assistant at the university during the 2022-2023 season, Davisson demonstrated her ability to organize and motivate athletes, contributing to the development of two Second-Team All-Conference players. She also played a pivotal role in various team activities, including scouting, recruiting, coordinating travel, managing social media, and supervising an academic group.

Prior to her time at Lincoln Memorial University, Davisson enjoyed a successful athletic career as a student-athlete at Belmont Abbey College. Her achievements include being part of the Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship team in 2019-2020 and the Conference Carolinas and Southeast Regional Championship team in 2020-2021. Davisson's leadership and communication skills were honed during her tenure as a student-athlete, and she gained valuable experience in mentoring and guiding fellow athletes. Davisson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in education from Belmont Abbey College and a Master of Business Administration in Sport Management from Lincoln Memorial University.
