Harrogate, TN -- The 22nd ranked Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters men's soccer team took on King University at home on Wednesday, cruising to an 8-0 victory to improve to 4-0-1 on the season.

Daniel Burko had quite the game, tying the school record for goals scored in a single game at home. Burko wasn't the only player to have a career day. Senior forward
Hunter Oubre netted three goals himself, completing the hat trick.
Lincoln Memorial wasted no time in getting on the board as Burko connected on the first goal of the game in the ninth minute on the assist from
Pablo Herrera. 10 minutes later, Burko added his second goal of the game on a penalty kick. Only four minutes later, Burko
again found the back of the net for his third goal of the game on the assist from Daniel Moreno Gomez. In the 41st minute, P. Herrera again found Burko who connected on his fourth goal of the game. Burko's fifth and final goal came in the 51st minute on the assist from
Colin Clark.
In the second half, Oubre decided to take over. Mere minutes into the second half, he connected on his first goal of the game on an assist from
Leandro Dos Santos Haesler. In the 79th minute, Oubre connected on his second goal on the assist from
Daniel Cruz. Oubre scored his third and final goal in the final minutes of the game on the assist from
Jacobo Rodriguez, bringing the game's score to its final of 8-0 in favor of (22)LMU.
The Railsplitters will be back in action on Saturday, September 16, on the road at Anderson. Kick-off is slated for 6:30.
