Harrogate, TN- The Lady Railsplitters will travel to Spero Financial Field in Anderson, SC on Saturday, September 16th, to begin their South Atlantic Conference schedule against Anderson University. Kickoff is set for 4 PM with the men's game to follow at 6:30 PM.

LMU is coming off their fourth win of the season against Shaw University on Wednesday. The team has been led in scoring by Alicia Bevins and Ellie Bowen with two goals apiece on the season thus far. As a team, the Lady Railsplitters have posted a 0.525 shot on goal percentage and two clean slates. 

Anderson is 2-2 so far on the season, both of their wins coming in their last two games against Emmanuel and Carson-Newman. Anderson will be a tough opponent with eight goal scorers already on the season including two from forward Leanna Guion. Lady Trojan goalkeeper Victoria McGovern will also be a player to watch with 18 total saves so far. 

The Lady Trojans and Lady Railsplitters are familiar opponents, with 13 total matchups dating back to the first in 1997. Anderson holds the lead in the series with a 7-5-1 record.
