Harrogate, TN -- The 22nd ranked LMU men's soccer team is set to open conference play this weekend on the road against Anderson. The Railsplitters took the victory in last year's contest and are looking to remain unbeaten. Last year at home, Lincoln Memorial edged out the Trojans in a 3-2 decision.
On the season, LMU is 4-0-1, and is fresh off of an 8-0 drubbing of King University. The Railsplitters hold a series lead with a 9-5-1 advantage all time against Anderson, including a 7-2-1 mark in the last 10 games. The match up favors the home team each way, as the Trojans hold a series lead at their home field 5-4, whereas the Railsplitters maintain a 5-0-1 advantage when playing at home.

Daniel Burko currently leads the South Atlantic Conference in goals scored with seven, and in points with 14. He is also second in the conference in shot attempts, and boasts a perfect 2-2 mark on penalty shots. He has two game-winning goals, good for second best in the conference. Teammate
