Greeneville, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team tallied another Wednesday night on the road at Tusculum. With the victory, the Railsplitters improved to 5-1-2 on the season with a 1-1-1 mark in conference play.
The lone goal of the game came from
Daniel Burko in the 71st minute on a penalty kick. Burko currently leads the South Atlantic Conference in goals (10), points (20), and is second in shots taken (33). Tusculum's Nicolas Leite was given a red card in the 71st minute, resulting in the ensuing penalty kick by Burko that gave Lincoln Memorial a 1-0 lead.
The Railsplitters will be back in action on Saturday playing host to Coker in a conference matchup. Lincoln Memorial took last year's game in Hartsville, SC by a score of 1-0. Kickoff for Saturday's match is slated for 4:00 PM in Harrogate at the LaCrosse Complex.
