Greenwood, SC - The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team traveled to Greenwood, SC on Thursday to take on the Lander Bearcats in a make up game from earlier this season that was postponed due to inclement weather.
It was a quiet night for the Railsplitters, tallying only one shot by
Leonie Pfisterer, and one defensive save by
Haley White. Lander managed five goals on 39 total shots; 26 of which were on goal. Goalkeeper
Ana Carney had another outstanding performance with 20 saves.
Lauren Punt, Dusty-Rose Miller, Philippine Drost, Justina Bossa, and Victoria Hulst all scored for the Bearcats with Aniek Vreeken assisting on two goals. Drost also added one assist.
With the loss, the Railsplitters moved to 0-10 on the season with an 0-6 mark in conference play. Lincoln Memorail will take on Belmont Abbey on the road Saturday with the game slated to begin at 3:00 PM.
