Harrogate, TN-  Lincoln Memorial (6-2-1, 2-0-1) is slated to take on Coker University (4-3-1, 1-3) on Saturday, September 30th, at 1 PM at the LMU Lacrosse Complex. The men's game will follow at 4 PM.

The Lady Railsplitters are coming off their second conference victory on Wednesday against Tusculum, a contest in which they won 3-1. Alicia Bevins had two goals and one assist in that game, bringing her to four total goals and two assists on the season. Ellie Bowen also added one to bring her to three total goals for the year. Meanwhile, recent SAC Defensive Player of the Week, Bente Latenstein, continues to be a force for LMU with 28 saves and a 0.824 save percentage on the year. 

Coker is going into Saturday off a 0-3 loss to nationally ranked #3 Catawba. Their conference play thus far has also seen a win against Tusculum, alongside losses to Mars Hill and Carson-Newman. Mallie Bates will be a Cobra to watch with three goals and three assists so far in the 2023 season. LMU will also look to get past goalkeeper Rhyan Parkin, who has 32 saves and a 0.800 save percentage so far.

Assistant Coach Kaitlyn Jones added this about the squad going into Saturday's contest: "Our group is in a good place after coming off a couple of great results, however, we're aware of the threat that Coker poses as they've also strung together some good results. Above all, we're happy to be home for the next couple of matches and look to continue on as we've started so far."

Coker and Lincoln Memorial will meet for their tenth matchup in program history. Lincoln Memorial holds the series 7-2 and will look to add to the win column on Saturday.
