Harrogate, TN – Women's Volleyball took on SAC conference opponent Carson-Newman (1-3) at home on Tuesday, September 5. After a heated, back and forth exchange, the Lady Railsplitters came up short in the fifth set (22-25, 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 13-15).
LMU Volleyball is 3-1 for this season and 0-1 in the SAC.
Kristen Moehring led the attack with 18 kills with
Ketura Margaret right behind her with 13.
Abigail Kesler,
Lauren Pickett, and
Megan Maier each had three service aces and
Sierrah Lemons led blocks with four.
Amanda Lisi and
Lauren Pickett combined for 41 assists.
Olivia Snyder had 10 digs to lead LMU.
LMU will head to Chowan this weekend for a tournament facing Chowan on Friday at 10am and Elizabeth City at 3pm. They will close out the tournament playing Shippensburg State on Saturday at 12 noon.
LMU will play SAC foe Mars Hill next Tuesday, September 12, at home at 6 PM.
