Harrogate, TN- The men's volleyball team to return to action in Mary Mars Gymnasium on Friday, January 26th, to take on Emmanuel University at 6 PM. They will follow with another game on Saturday, January 27th, also in Mary Mars, slated for a 3 PM start against the University of Charleston.

Lincoln Memorial sits at 2-2 on the season currently, after their five set thriller win over North Greenville this past weekend. The team is led by Matthew Gentry and Shay Spadaro, both posting 32 kills on the season while playing in all 15 sets. The team is hitting .254 heading into Friday and will look to add to their 25 service aces on the year.

Friday's opponent, Emmanuel University, is 0-3 so far on the season, losing twice to the University of Hawaii, and most recently, to the University of Charleston. Emmanuel is hitting at -0.030 on the season recorded only 51 assists in their nine sets. This will be the 14th meeting between the two programs, with LMU holding the series handily, the last of which resulting in a sweep from the Railsplitters.

The University of Charleston will be Lincoln Memorial's opponent for their Saturday match. The Golden Eagles and the Railsplitters have met four times in their history, with LMU looking to avenge their loss from last year. Charleston is 4-0 on the season, with their most recent win coming against Edward Waters last Saturday. They are hitting .401 on the season and will prove to be a tough task.
