Newberry, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team looks to continue their win streak as they travel to Newberry, SC to face Newberry on Saturday at 3:30 pm. This will be their 6th SAC match up of the season.

The first time that the two teams faced each other was in September of 2007, where the Railsplitters defeated the Wolves 6-1. The most recent match up between LMU and Newberry was in Harrogate in September of 2023, where the game ended in a 3-3  draw. The series record between the two teams is 11-2-3.

Lincoln Memorial is coming off of a 2-0 win against #17 Wingate (previously ranked #9). Leandro Dos Santos Haesler scored in the 1st minute, assisted by Dati Chinchaladze. In the 48th minute, Tajay Grant scored with another assist coming from Chinchaladze. Botond Skulka is in the lead in points with 7 while Ronan O'Mahony is right behind him with 6.

Chinchaladze was named this week's SAC Offensive Player of the Week and Daniel Miklosi was named this week's SAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Newberry is coming off of a 4-1 win against Shorter.

In the SAC standings, Lincoln Memorial is sitting in 4th while Newberry is tied for 7th with Carson-Newman.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 pm.
