Newberry, SC - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team continue their win streak as they defeated the Newberry Wolves Saturday evening 1-0. 

The match remained scoreless for the whole first half and most of the second half until LMU finally put themselves on the board. In the 70th minute, Enrique Martin scored for Lincoln Memorial, unassisted. The Railsplitters were able to keep Newberry from scoring in the final 10 minutes to secure the win.

With the win, LMU improves to 6-2-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the SAC. Their next match will be at Carson-Newman on October 16. Kickoff is set for 5 pm.
