Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial men's soccer team defeat the Tusculum University Pioneers 2-1 Wednesday evening.
Tusculum started the scoring in the 8th minute when Clarenns Sainrimat scored unassisted. Lincoln Memorial was able to tie up the game in the 34th minute when
Gian-Carlo Kama scored off of a
Steven Stone assist. The score would remain 1-1 for the remainder of the first half.
The Railsplitters took the lead in the 55th minute when
Ronan O'Mahony scored off of a penalty kick. Lincoln Memorial was able to keep the lead to secure the win.
With the win, they improve to a 4-2-2 record overall and a 1-2-1 record in the SAC.
Their next match will be at home against Wingate on Saturday October 5th. Kickoff is set for 3 pm.
