Mars Hill, NC - The Lincoln Memorial women's soccer team tally a 4-game win streak as they defeat Mars Hill Sunday evening 2-0.
The Lady Railsplitters started the scoring early in the game, with
Ryan Branson scoring a goal off of a free kick in the 10th minute. No one would add another goal onto the scoreboard until the 89th minute when
Viktoria Filsner scored off of a
Jade Brown assist.Â
With the win, LMU records their third shutout in a row and their fourth shutout of the season. LMU improves to 6-4-2 overall and 4-2-2 in conference play.Â
Their next match will be at home on Saturday, October 26th at 2 pm. This also senior day for the women's soccer team.Â
