Field hockey set for back-to-back conference road games Wednesday and Thursday

Harrogate, TN - The Lincoln Memorial field hockey team is coming off of its best week in program history, now setting on a winning streak of three straight games, including back-to-back conference wins. Wednesday's game at Coker was originally scheduled to be played in late September. However, due to the effects of hurricane Helene, the game was moved to Oct. 30. Similarly, Thursday's game was originally slated for Oct. 5, but was moved to Halloween.

Wednesday's game against Coker will be the only shot the Railsplitters get at the Cobras this season. When the teams last met, Coker took a win in overtime. Lincoln Memorial took on Newberry just a few short weeks ago on Oct. 19. The Wolves were the last team to score a goal on the Railsplitters. Since the Newberry game, Lincoln Memorial has been unblemished and looks to finish the season strong with a pair of back-to-back conference games before its final game of the season at Limestone on Saturday.
