Harrogate, TN- Lincoln Memorial Women's Volleyball took down the Wasps of Emory & Henry tonight in three sets: 25-21, 25-21, 25-21.
The first set would feature a back-and-forth battle, 13 ties and six lead changes in the frame. LMU would find a bit of a rhythm to end the set, earning four straight points and taking the early lead. LMU would step it up in the second, taking the early lead and fending off the Wasp counterattack, hitting .405 as a team in the set to extend the lead. The third would be a contest of effort, both teams hitting sub-.100, Lincoln Memorial eventually pulling away and earning their second straight sweep win.
Agata Bogdanska would lead the night for the Splitters, hitting .529 with 13 kills.
Abigail Kesler and
Kristen Moehring would also earn double-digit kills hitting .231 for 11 kills and .320 for 10 kills, respectively. Megain Maier would also earn some highlights on the night, adding four service aces to her stat line.Â
Lincoln Memorial improves to 15-6 on the season, 9-5 in conference play. They'll take a little bit of a breather before returning to action on the road at Tusculum on Wednesday, November 6th, at 7 PM.
