Harrogate, TN- Women's volleyball will host Carson-Newman on Wednseday, October 9th, for a 7 PM contest in Mary Mars Gymnasium.

LMU is currently 9-4 (3-3), splitting their contests last week against Tusculum and Lenoir-Rhyne. LMU is hitting .204 as a team on the year, averaging 12.2 kills per set. Kristen Moehring not only leads the team in attack, but also the conference, tallying 197 kills to average 4.02 per set so far this year. Joining her in triple-digit kills is Abigail Kesler (119) and Agata Bogdanska (103). Bogdanska has added to her impressive 2024 campaign, hitting .326 and posting 56 total blocks on the season. Lauren Jacob also continues to perform as libero, tallying 201 digs on the year to average 4.1 per set.

Carson-Newman is a familiar foe for the Splitters. The in-state conference rivalry runs deep, LMU holding the edge 39-29 all-time. Carson-Newman won their most recent contest earlier this season in Jefferson City in four sets. CN is 11-3 on the season, 7-0 in conference play while hitting .208 with an average of 12.15 assists per set and 2.08 blocks per set.
